Selected candidates for full-time regular students in the PPEEL (Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering) may be eligible for scholarships granted by CAPES, CNPq, or the Federal Center for Technological Education Celso Suckow da Fonseca (CEFET-RJ) itself. These scholarships aim to financially support students during their time of dedication to the program, with a maximum duration of two years for the Master's degree scholarships.

In 2024, PPEEL was awarded scholarships through the CAPES Program for Reducing Asymmetries in Graduate Programs (PRAPG). With the support of PRAPG, PPEEL will be able to offer its students an even more robust structure, contributing to excellence in the training and research conducted in the program (PRAPG Results).
