Egress - Graduates

In a survey conducted in December 2018 with the students who graduated from the program, we can extract some important information.

The federal public administration agencies absorbed 53.8% of our graduates, while 23.1% worked in private companies. No egress from the program reported acting in state or municipal public administration companies. Among the occupations of these graduates, we can list: specialist in satellite engineering, development engineer, Navy engineer, senior telecommunications engineer, industrial property researcher and military technology engineer.

Here are some of the responses of the graduates when asked about the impact of the program on their professional career:

"The PPEEL training provided a broader vision for the technical area. In addition to training and improve technical research methodology and documentation. "

"The MA earned me points in the competition's title test for the Marine Corps of Engineers."

"Currently I participate in internal selection process that has as prerequisite the stricto senso masters course. "

"I did not get promotions due to the fact that I resigned to dedicate myself better to the master's degree. I obtained some works on demand, via Juridical Person (PJ), because they wanted an engineer with master's degree. "

"I received a salary increase due to the end of the master's degree."

"The completion of the Master's degree has promoted the recognition of my effort by my peers and who collaborated indirectly for functional promotion within the project. "

"Having completed the Master's degree allowed me to change jobs, given that the public position I hold today requires Masters-level training. "

"The knowledge acquired during the course could be applied in a way that performance in my work. With this the title of Master allowed me to receive professional promotion correspondent within the Military Technology Career. "

Regarding the degree of satisfaction with the program, a numeric note was requested in the range of 1 to 5, with note 1 related to "a lot of dissatisfaction" and note 5 related to "a lot of satisfaction". Among the graduates, 53.8% gave a grade 5 to this item, with the remaining 46.2% granting grade 4. Using the same numerical scale, 46.2% of graduates gave a grade 5 to didactics of PPEEL teachers, with equal giving a note 4. The remaining 7.7% of graduates reported grade 3 in this regard.

Regarding the salary increase, no egress reported loss after the master's degree, while 23.1% reported an increase above R $ 2,000.00 and 15.4% reported an increase of up to R $ 1,000.00.

Finally, all the graduates who responded to the research reported having produced scientific articles (whether in periodicals or in conferences), book chapter or patent as a result of their dissertation.
