International Partnerships:
International partnerships result from collaborations established by faculty members during their postdoctoral fellowships abroad. These partnerships are reflected in co-authored publications and research teams within the program's projects. Below is a list of the cooperations/exchanges by faculty members:

- Professor Alessandro Zachi has published scientific papers in partnership with Professor Fábio Andrade from the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) and the NORCE research institute, as well as with Professor Elkin Yesid Veslin Diaz from the Universidad de Boyacá.
- Professor Ana Lucia Ferreira de Barros has been collaborating with NASA Ames in the United States in the area of solar system astrophysics since October 2016. She also collaborates with the Grand Accelerateur National d'Ions (GANIL), France, in the area of collision processes and interactions of atoms and molecules since 2011, and with Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/E), Netherlands, in instrumentation since 2009. Since 2017, she has been working with researchers from the Advanced Materials Institute of BIN Convergence Technology (BK21 Plus Global) in South Korea, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia, the University of Zagazig in Egypt, and the Central Leather Research Institute in India.
- Professor Diego Barreto Haddad has published papers with Lee Bowon (INHA, South Korea). In 2018, he published with Norwegian researchers Christopher Dahlin Rodin, Tor Arne Johansen, and Rune Storvold. He has established research contacts with Romanians Constantin Paleologu and Silviu Ciochina and collaborates with Professor Fábio Andrade from USN and NORCE.
- Professor João Dias has a co-authored paper with Fábio Andrade from USN and NORCE.
- Professor Josiel Alves Gouvêa collaborates and publishes with Professor Elkin Yesid Veslin Diaz from the Universidad de Boyacá.
- Professor Gabriel Matos has published scientific papers in partnership with Ubydul Haque from Rutgers Global Health Institute and Fernando Cruz-Roldán from the Universidad de Alcalá.
- Professor Luciana Faletti actively collaborates with Professor Juan Lazo from the Universidad del Pacífico (Lima, Peru).
- Professor Maria Aparecida Gonçalves Martinez has collaborated with Southern Methodist University (SMU) in integrated optics since 2012 and with INESC TEC Portugal in remote optical sensors since 2009.
- Professor Maria Thereza Miranda Rocco Giraldi has collaborated with INESC (Portugal) and the University of Porto/Portugal in remote optical sensors since 2007. She has coordinated three formal international cooperation projects (CAPES, CNPq) and participated in a PhD committee at KTH in Sweden.
- Professor Maurício Henrique Costa Dias has been collaborating with Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble in electromagnetic theory, microwaves, wave propagation, and antennas since 2013.
- Professor Milena Faria Pinto collaborates with Professor José Lima from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança in robotics and also with Professor Fábio Andrade from USN and NORCE.
National Partnerships
National partnerships have resulted in cooperative research projects with funding from national and international agencies, co-authored papers in national and international conferences, and co-authored articles in international journals, as well as co-supervision of master's and doctoral students. - Professor Alessandro Zachi actively collaborates with researchers from UERJ and UFRJ.
- Professor Ana Lucia Ferreira de Barros has collaborated with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Valongo/UFRJ, and the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) in atomic and molecular physics since 2006. She founded the Laboratory of Experimental and Applied Physics, where she has been conducting research since 2006. She has submitted measurement proposals to the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) with the IQ/UFRJ, Valongo/UFRJ, and CEFET/RJ groups. She holds a CNPq Productivity in Research fellowship (Level 1D) and is a FAPERJ “Cientista do Nosso Estado” fellow.
- Professor Diego Barreto Haddad has consistently published with UFRJ professors Mariane Rembold Petraglia, Wallace Alves Martins, Markus Lima, Luiz Wagner Pereira Biscainho since 2010. He has also published with Professor Marcos Bacis Ceddia (from UFRRJ).

Since 2012, he has collaborated with the Army Technological Center (CTEx) in the same area as part of the Ministry of Defense's Software Defined Radio development program.
