Pesquisadora do CEFET/RJ participa da colaboração internacional no CERN

 No período entre setembro de 2002 e agosto de 2003, a Profa. D.Sc. Aline Gesualdi Manhães realizou um estágio de doutorado sanduiche no exterior através da bolsa PDEE da CAPES. O estágio foi realizado no Centro Europeu para Pesquisas Nucleares (CERN) onde a Dr. Aline atuou no experimento ATLAS (A Toroidal LHC ApparatuS) no sistema de Trigger de Alto Nível (HLT - High Level Trigger) com o grupo PESA (Physics and Event Selection Architecture). Após esse periodo retornei ao CERN em 2005 para um estágio complementar de 3 meses com bolsa do ALTAS.

In the period between September 2002 and August 2003, Prof. D.Sc. Aline Gesualdi Manhães undertook a PhD sandwich internship abroad through the CAPES PDEE grant. The internship was conducted at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN) where Dr. Aline worked on the ATLAS (A Toroidal LHC ApparatuS) experiment in the High Level Trigger (HLT) system with the PESA (Physics and Event Selection Architecture). After this period I returned to CERN in 2005 for a 3-month supplementary internship with ALTAS scholarship.
