Research Infrastructure

The PPCTE has at its disposal the necessary infrastructure for the development of research activities and teaching by the teachers and students. The program has its own laboratories built and equipped with the purpose of meeting the needs of the research developed on the program.

The research laboratories of the PPCTE are the following:

Lab of History of Science: Research, production and storage of didactic materials in the field of the history of science and education. It counts on equipment of video and capture of images via Internet for the implementation of experiments.

Science and Technology Dissemination Laboratory: Research, production and development of interdisciplinary didactic materials for scientific (no formal) and formal education and dissemination. The projects developed by this laboratory have FINEP, CNPq and FAPERJ funding. 

Core of Activities and Research in Physics Teaching (NAPEF): Research on the education of physics teachers and the implementation of extension and teaching projects, such as PIBID. It is located on Petrópolis campus and serves as an integrated space with the Physics Teachers Education Programs on this campus. It has the support of FAPERJ, CAPES and CEFET / RJ itself

Laboratory for Scientific Disclosure and Teaching of Sciences (LABDEC): Research and production of materials in the area of scientific dissemination and teaching of science. The laboratory has a collection of several digital magazines and, it is equipped with audiovisual and printed resources available to the general public.
